Hi Family and Friends! I created this website as the next evolution in my quest to try and remember my vacations years later. The first stage was buying a nice camera because I noticed years after taking my first international vacations, although I’d take pictures on my iphone, I wasn’t taking that many and I felt like I was starting to lose memory of what else had happened during the vacations. I think I even took one trip where I came home with less than 10 pictures! So I decided to get a nice camera because I knew having something around my neck / in my hands would force me to take a lot of pictures. Then, I’d post a lot of pictures on Facebook, but I noticed I still wasn’t remembering a lot of the context and the history of the places I’d been to. I’d taken many tours but couldn’t remember a lot of what I had learned. So starting with my Cambodia/Vietnam trip with Kellogg, I decided to bring a little pocket journal with me so that I could take notes and put together a story of my trip so that others and myself years later could share in the experience. Some of the locations are going to only have pictures as they are too old for me to really remember details, and some locations will have a few details based on what I can remember years later, but starting with the Vietnam/Cambodia trip in 2018 I should have detailed notes for all of my future trips.
