Our fourth day on Oahu started with what was probably my favorite view of the trip (at least of any view we could hike to). We did the Lanikai Trail hike to kick things off, and the view from the top was just picture perfect. The houses looked like dream homes to live in and I loved the two little islands/hills that seemed to rise out of nowhere in the ocean.

After this hike, we drove 2 minutes to the Lanikai beach. We had a great time here, minus the 15 minutes or so of rain we got. Jack and Mary had been to this beach before and they said that during the busy season this beach would be absolutely packed. When we were there though, it was pretty much empty. There’s something to be said about going on vacations during the off seasons!

On Tuesday night, Jack and Mary flew back home while Grainne and I attended a Luau at the hotel. It was a great experience and the hotel really put on an incredible show.

After the Luau, Grainne and I went back to the hotel and started packing for our 36-hour trip to Kauai. So far, our first 4 days in Oahu had been action packed, but we were about to get even busier!
