We landed Friday morning in San Francisco and were picked up by Maureen. We headed straight for a Pacific Ocean beach-side lunch where we got to see views like the below. Even stepped our toes in!

After our lunch we went to Golden Gate Park to see some aerial views of San Francisco. Pictures from that view are below:

After we left the park we went to downtown San Francisco for the rest of the afternoon. We hopped on a trolley to get to Fisherman’s Wharf. The trolley was a ton of fun and a little thrilling to be standing on the outside holding on to the handle. Once we made it to Fisherman’s Wharf we found some sea lions lounging about Pier 39.

Once we finished walking around Fisherman’s Wharf we went and had a seafood family style dinner with an ocean view. We were so tired after dinner we went to Maureen’s and went straight to bed. Such a busy first day but Day 2 was even busier!
