Day 3 – San Francisco

On day 3 we spent the day roaming around Napa Valley & Sonoma being fancy tourists doing the wine tasting. Not really my thing but I still enjoyed it and I think we all had a good time. Plus we got this great picture out of it:

We started the day at Cline Cellars for our first tasting but then headed to Sterling Vineyards which was very exciting. To actually get to the plant and tour we had to take a gondola up the mountainside which gave us outstanding views. Below are the pictures from that visit:

Afterwards the four of us went to dinner with Jay (Maureen’s son) and Stephanie and their three daughters. It was great to see all of them.

After dinner we went home and packed our things to leave the next day. Being in San Francisco for 72 hours flew by but it was a ton of fun. Mama Bauer stayed a few more days but Grainne and I had to get home. It was an awesome trip. All three days had beautiful weather and we got to see all of the sites we wanted to. Plus hanging out with Maureen all weekend was a lot of fun. We’ll definitely be back!
