After spending two days laying at the pool we decided to rent bicycles and ride around the island. It’s small enough that you can easily bike around and see everything you want in only a few hours. This was nice because we got to see the entire island and we got a little workout in!

Below are additional pictures from the coastline:
When we were making our way around the island we stopped at a little aquarium that was setup where we could see local fish and turtles.
The last two stops we made were on the opposite side of the island of our hotel. The first one seemed to be a Iguana breeding ground. We got lucky and found an Iguana hanging out on the ledge right away. It was really neat to see. Then we went to the Temple Ixchel which was an old Mayan temple that was on the island. This temple was also the “Cliff of the Dawn” because it’s the first part of Mexico to see the sun every morning. Below are some pictures from our last two stops.
The next page has different pictures I took while walking around the main town. Also, some pictures I found online so everyone can see what we saw while scuba diving. Click here to jump to that page.
